Earth in an oven.

The earth is heating up,
But our attitudes are not!
The fate of those in Noah’s flood
It seems we forgot.
We say that we’re giants,
Incapable of extinction…
Were the dinosaurs not giants too?
And now they make up our minerals!

The coffee is hot,
Yet we refuse to wake up , and smell it!
The planet burns yet all we do is make merry!!

The irony of the century;
Is that we build our today,
By burning away our tomorrow…
Slowly but surely
Mother earth becomes a queen of sorrows.
